BREEDING REQUIREMENTS FOR YOUR FEMALE
If you are planning to breed your female German Shepherd dog ,please call me before she is in season/heat so we can talk and go over the details.
YOUR FEMALE HAS TO BE:
1.Tested for Canine Brucellosis ( Brucella )
2.Tested for cervical culture and sensitivity:
1 and 2 can be done a couple of weeks before her heat and you must show proof in your paperwork from the vet that the tests were done to the female in question ( put her tatoo or microchip # in tests results ). These tests will help her with conception and to avoid loosing the litter for complications due to infections and protect my stud from contracting and spreading diseases . There are "breeders out there" that do not require the tests, so that means their stud can get a disease from a female and keep spreading it around **** If you don't do these tests, there will be NO breeding *****
3.Tested for Progesterone levels , starting around the 7th to 9th day after she started bleeding ( it will tell us exactly when to breed her for a better conception rate and bigger litter of German Shepherd puppies ).

4.All tests and payment have to be brought with your female BEFORE BREEDING.
5. After the whelping, contact us to give you the proper information to register the litter. If all tests are done properly and your female doesn't get pregnant,we will breed her on her next heat at no extra charge. If she doesn't get pregnant for reasons other than the breeding ( flying her within 20 days of breeding, no progesterone test done , etc ) This is your responsibility and a different breeding will have to be scheduled.
6. She will be bred ONCE ( Texas is proven and has had several litters of 10-12 pups with 1 breeding, this is why is so important the progesterone test ).
7. I only breed my STUDS ONCE a week, which will ensured you that he is fresh, strong in sperm count and rested.... so please, make a reservation for your breeding ASAP.
8. Stud fee is $1,000 ( I can help you with payments ).
9. Chilled and frozen semen ( $300- $400 ) can be shipped to you, so you can save considerable money vs the shipping and boarding ( $1,300 ) of your female.
